# Wireframing

Wireframe to resolve structure and flow before you commit to visual detail. Cheap, ugly, fast — the point is to throw most of them away.

## Method
- **Gray boxes and lorem ipsum.** Deliberately avoid color, imagery, and finished type. They trigger feedback on the wrong things ("I don't like that blue") when you need feedback on layout and priority.
- **Annotate the flow.** Show where each action leads. A screen in isolation tells you nothing; the journey between screens is the design.
- **Explore three, not one.** The first layout is usually the obvious cliché. The third often has the better idea. Generate breadth before depth.

## What to validate
- Is the primary action obvious?
- Does the structure match the user's mental model?
- What's missing — what does this screen assume the user already knows?
